Build a Good Team

As National Agents Alliance agents know, selling life insurance is one of the most lucrative professions available to people of all backgrounds, education level and geographical locations.  Young and old, male or female, wherever you are, it makes no difference.

Because we work with gigantic, mature insurance companies, backed by billions of dollars in assets, we know that when we write a policy on a family we are always going to get paid, and paid well.  And, because we work with a gigantic market, with 77 million baby boomers needing our services, we know there will always be someone to sell to.  Based on those two facts, we are in a great industry, with unlimited potential for helping families protect their assets while we can make an exceptional living.

We have part-time agents earning over $50,000 annually and full-time selling agents earning well over $250,000, some over a half a million dollars, each year just on their own efforts.  That’s a great income!  Very few professions have that kind of income potential.  When an eighteen year-old, without a single day of college can begin earning over $1,000 a week in a very short time after licensing you have a great industry; when a man or woman, retired from one profession, can start another, and just like the eighteen year old, quickly begin making an excellent income, it’s definitely a great industry.

What we have learned is that anyone with the desire, willingness to learn, and with a strong work ethic can make it in this business.  But National Agents Alliance’s opportunity is even better that what was just described.  What if you hired other men and women into your own agency?  What if you could earn a piece of their business?  And, why would you want to build an agency?

Three good questions connected by logic.  Who wouldn’t want to earn an override on the sales of other people?  A well-known quote attributed to John D. Rockefeller states “I would rather earn 1% off a 100 people’s efforts than 100% of my own efforts.”  Makes a lot of sense, right?  So, I guess the answer to the “why” question is pretty obvious.  Besides the money you earn, you could increase your income from the percentage you make from each salesperson in your agency.  If you have been living pretty well off the $150,000 you earn from your own sales, you wouldn’t object to earning an additional $100,000 off your agency, would you?  It would be great because you have just increased your income to a quarter million dollars a year.

But that is not the number one reason why you want to build a team of agents.

We already established that you can make a really good living just on your own efforts.  But, every agent should build an agency for this one very simple reason:  What if you got sick or injured and couldn’t go out and sell?  No sales; no checks.  You don’t get a paycheck from a boss.  You are your own boss.  You can’t work, you don’t get paid.  So, by building a team of agents, you can insure that your income will continue to come in even the event that you couldn’t work for a while!

  2. […] You started this business with National Agents Alliance because you saw the potential for a great income and a chance to create a lifestyle few ever attain.  You watched hundreds of others do just that through National Agents Alliance, and you know the system works.  Don’t try to be someone you are not; like, Phil in the movie, learn that being yourself is most important.  Being you is enough. When you stop trying to be someone else, people see the genuine you, the person they can trust, and your business will explode. […]
